Bruce, 1 of the 3 owners, has been involved with Porsche since 1969. Collectively, Bruce, John, and Phil have been working on Porsche Electrical services in Huntington Beach since the early 70’s. This means they have a deep understanding of Porsche’s logic and how their electrical system should operate; making it easier to diagnose. They also understand how they build their wiring system and how they progressed. Although owned by the same company, Porsche differs from Audi and Volkswagen. Another big factor is that Autowerkes has access to the PIWIS ( Porsche Integrated Workshop Information System) which gives them access to the Wiring Diagram, software to be able to program, code, reset interval lights, program keys, and more. It also shows what the components are, where those circuits lead, its functions and Diagnostic Aids making it more efficient to repair your Porsche which in the long run saves you money. This computer software is essential in order to operate on Porsche vehicles from 2000 and later.
