  •   I have been bringing my BMWs (first a 325i convertible and then a M Roadster) to Autowerkes since the President of the last company I worked at recommended them back in 1995- and most recently last week.  I have found them to be thoroughly knowledgeable of the cars and able to fix the issues without having to bring the car back- the repair is done correctly the first time, and I am always kept in the loop for what the issues are, anticipated expenses, and when the car will be ready for pick up.  Their are many unscrupulous repair shops out there,  I am glad to have found a place that I can implicitly trust.  I highly recommend Bruce, Johnny, and the rest of the Autowerkes staff. Thanks, Cliff R.

  •   I wanted to take some time to write a review for Autowerkes.  Johnny, Bruce and Phil were kind enough to reset the airbag light on my 996 as a courtesy.  How often do you get anyone to do anything for free?

I know exactly where I will be taking my car the next time it needs service.  As I told Bruce, I hope to see you guys again but just not THAT often :).

  •   Johnny, Bruce and Phil; Autowerks, What can I say they are AMAZING! They are priced fairly, they know their cars, they are quick, reliable, beyond helpful, very knowledgeable, they are SPECTACULAR!  I have used 98% of mechanics in Huntington Beach for over 20 years and I have never found anyone who I trusted bringing my car to and knowing it would come out getting fixed properly!  I recommend them! The only down fall is I wish they worked on my other cars that are not Mercedes, BMW, or Porsche!

  •   I brought a vehicle here for its inaugural service and the staff were accommodating and the ship was clean.  The garage bays were organized and they gave me a ride to and from my house and washed my car when I picked it up.  Autoworkes will be my go to Indie shop in HB.  Support local business. Definitely much less than taking it to the dealer.

  •   Autowerkes did a great job on my Boxster. They were reasonable and very detailed oriented. I love that they'll give you a ride back to your home and also pick you up. Plus, my car was washed and detailed after the service. The owners (Bruce and Johnny, and I forget the other owner) were extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight into what things I needed. Also their prices are reasonable.

  •   I had my oil change done personally, and needed help to reset my computer. These guys wouldn't take my money, and that's what earns repeat business!

  •   Very nice customer service for the car owners. But for the car.... :-(
I had the four brakes changed at around $2300. After the work was done, I drove the car for two months and noticed noises when braking.  I brought it back for checking. I was told to leave it there for a day to check.  A whole day just to test drive on a brake pads?????  Later that day, I came back and was told that they didn't find anything wrong with it and sent me home with the same problem unsolved.  So I was stuck with this noise.  Whenever I was at the traffic intersection, I felt embarrassed to see drivers around looking at me in my Porsche.... thinking I didn't have the $ to fix my brakes.

I had my oil changed there. After a 6 months or so, the oil levels went down significantly.  I was worrying that the oil might have leaked some where.  I took it to the shop to check.  They had the engine on for a WHOLE hour and then said nothing was wrong.  So where did the oil go??????  They sent me home again with the same problem unsolved.  I took the car to another shop and was told my car was not like those regular cars. It burned oil.

The shop might have done great jobs to many other Porsche owners, but somehow, my car
did not received that same care.  I live nearby, but reluctantly I have to bring my car to another shop.

  •   I was referred to this shop by Hans Imports, a few doors down. It was a valuable referral as I took my Porsche here for general service/maintenance the entire time that I owned the vehicle.
